I actually convinced [SCO|http://www.sco.com] to shell out the money to send me to [USENIX|http://www.usenix.org] in New Orleans back in 1998.  Good times were had by all.  My advice: don't go to New Orleans unless:

# you drink
# you can drink in 110 degree weather with 100% humidity.
# you like to eat.

I wouldn't hang around with anyone who didn't meet those criteria anyway.

One thing I like about this picture is the contrast (dare I say ''juxtaposition''?) of the ancient French Quarter and the high-rises right next to it.
