My house has a PG&E smartmeter electronic power meter. I use smartermeter to extract my power usage from the PG&E website. Then smartermeter uploads the data to pachube, a service that allows you to connect various data sources to the internet and make graphs and such. I guess it's sort of a data brokerage. Anyway, here's the result:

The above results are accurate to about an hourly resolution I think. Note that if for some reason my vps crashes and I forget to restart smartermeter you will just see a flat line. I should fix that.
