I'm currently employed at a large internet company in Sunnyvale, CA.

But as always, you can drop me a line (spam filtered) if you have something interesting for a Linux sysadmin/developer.

I graduated from The University of Montana in 1996 with a BSCS (and a minor in English Literature). After a number of years working in and around Silicon Valley, I moved to New York City to continue working as a Senior System Administrator. In 2009 I moved back to San Francisco to work once again in the bay area.

I have a lot of experience designing and installing Linux-based networks and working with Unix systems in general. Plus, I've done a substantial amount of work in test scripting and build automation.

Incidentally, I wrote a minor freeware Linux kernel development aid call2sym. I've also contributed to free software projects like a2ps, mutt, and SCO skunkware.

Linux has been running on my desktop systems since version .99.1.

Communication skills are important. Here's a WhitePaper I wrote a couple of years ago.

Or, take a look at some articles I've written for various publications.
