The A-12 was very similar to the well-known SR-71 Blackbird. This is the first A-12 ever produced. The difference between the two planes was that the A-12 was flown for super-secret missions by the CIA and had one pilot, while the SR-71 was flown by the Air Force and had a pilot and a passenger.
